General Rules:
**Registration and Exam Notes: You can register with one selection, but for the provincial competitions, you must have two selections prepared. If you choose two selections, they must be selected from different lists.

**Competitor Level Selection Guidelines: If the exam takes place after January 31, 2025, candidates can continue to register for competitions at the same level; however, candidates whose exams are before this date cannot.
Age group are divided as follows:
Beginner – ages 6 - 8
Elementary – ages 9 - 12
Junior – ages 13 - 15
Intermediate – ages 16 - 18
Advanced – ages 19 - 28
Adult – 29 and over

Memorization is optional, but encouraged.

Must bring original music. Will be disqualified if no original music or photocopies

NEW: Participants may enter a class more than once as long as different repertoire is entered. A separate registration is required for each entry.

A piece cannot be used by a competitor in more than one class. Repertoire which does not coincide with stated categories will result in disqualification.

Performance times MUST be included on the entry form.

Guitar instruments is IN PERSON only.

All classes in this section are eligible to proceed to the Provincial level of competition which will be held in Kitchener-Waterloo, June 9-14, 2025, upon adjudicator recommendation.
